Hi, I’m Danielle, the founder of Refined Beauty Academy. I’m 30 years old and have been in the beauty industry for over five years. Before stepping into beauty, I managed dental practices and worked closely with both professionals and patients. That experience taught me so much about professionalism, hygiene, compliance, and customer service, all of which play a huge part in how I run my beauty business today.
My journey in beauty began when I was 24, and what had always been my passion became the foundation for a successful business. It’s true what they say, if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.
The beauty industry has given me so much: creativity, confidence, and the opportunity to connect with incredible people every day. Since most of us spend a large part of our lives at work, I believe it’s important that what we do is truly worth our time.
After several years of hands-on experience and teaching for another company, I decided to take the next step and launch Refined Beauty Academy. My goal was simple: to create a space where aspiring beauty professionals could learn, grow, and gain the skills and confidence they need to build successful careers or even become their own boss.
What I’ve learned in this industry is that what truly sets you apart is YOU. There are so many talented beauticians that clients can choose from, but the reason they return isn’t just your skill or knowledge it’s the experience you create and the person you are.
